From the rain forest of northern Brazil to the business hub of Sao Paulo, Marco Túlio has built an impressive career in cybersecurity. He discusses the opportunity and challenge of enabling people to step up, succeed and eventually rise to be leaders in their own right.

Túlio is director of information security and privacy at Red Ventures and CISO of business operations in Brazil. He has 20 years of experience in technology, risks and information security, with over nine years of international experience. He has a multi-industry background in financial, tech, health, retail/marketplace, startups and utilities, and he developed one of the first cybersecurity programs in Brazil. Túlio was recognized as one of top 50 global CISOs in 2020 by IDG and received several awards for security programs he led. He works as a career mentor, speaker, security evangelist and board member.
